High-End Appliance Brands

Asko Appliances AB is a Swedish company producing household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers and washing machines. The products continue to be sold in Sweden under the brand Cylinda, but are exported under the name ASKO. In North America Asko only imports dishwashers and laundry. Asko is upscale and competes against Bosch, Miele, SMEG, Viking Range, Fulgor and Kitchen Aid.

Appliances is a line of household appliances produced by a variety of manufacturers such as Whirlpool Corp, GE, Panasonic, LG, Bosch, Electrolux, and Mabe Mexico, and controlled by Sears Holdings Corporation; the brand is owned by KCD IP, LLC, a special purpose entity created by Sears Holdings for securitization purposes. The brand is sold at all Sears Holdings stores including, Sears, Orchard Supply Hardware, The Great Indoors and, since 2005, at Kmart. The first Kenmore branded product was a washing machine marketed in 1927. The first Kenmore vacuum cleaners were sold in 1932. They are currently manufactured primarily by Panasonic. Kenmore’s upscale line of appliances is known as the Elite line. Kenmore also has a professional line of appliances called Kenmore Pro.


 The Amana Corporation is an American brand of household appliances. It was founded in 1934 by George Foerstner as The Electrical Equipment Co. in Middle Amana, Iowa, to manufacture commercial walk-in coolers. The business was later owned by the Amana Society and became known as Amana Refrigeration, Inc.. It is now owned by Whirlpool Corporation.
