Here are a few simple money saving tips for your home appliances! We at Cor-Jus Enterprises want to not only repair you appliances, but help you to get the most out of your appliances and save you money.


For Your Refrigerator

1. Shut the refrigerator door! Before opening your refrigerator plan what you are going to need first. Almost a third of your cold air is lost every time you open the door so get in, get out and save money!

2. Look for the Energy Star label! This means better efficiency and money saved.


For Your Washer/Dryer

1. Choose a drying cycle that uses a moisture sensor. This will monitor dryness and will stop drying when the moisture is gone. This will save energy, time, and preserve your clothes.

2. Hang your laundry for air drying. This saves energy, reduces wrinkles, eliminates static cling, and reduce the wear on your clothes.


For Your Appliances

WHY HIGH EFFICIENCY TOP LOAD WASHERS USE LESS WATER

HE (High Efficiency) washers use less water (at least 50%) and energy than conventional top loading washers. A HE washer also senses load size and fabric type through a series of fills and wash motions which it uses to optimize both the wash level and temperature. Items will be saturated but may not be completely submerged in water. This is normal for an HE washer and still provides excellent cleaning.

You may also notice more movement in the basket as you are loading it. This is normal. A low water wash system cleans the load effectively and efficiently through the following actions. The unique impeller motion moves items through the water rather than just simple agitation, using the movement of clothes against each other to aide cleaning. The load is moved from the outside toward the middle with items coming up in the center and down on the outside edges.

 Because High Efficiency washers use less water than conventional washers, a High Efficiency (HE) detergent that produces low suds is required to facilitate the rinsing process. Look for the HE label on the box or bottle.

A High Efficiency washer also spins at a higher speed than conventional washers, extracting more water from your clothes and reducing drying time. High Efficiency washers look, sound and work differently than conventional top-load washers in the following ways. They operate with lower water levels. They use less energy. The basket has more movement. The unique impeller moves items through small amounts of water efficiently and effectively.
